The new single Day of Reckoning features Banjo master Tony Trischka (he taught Bela Fleck). The song was co-written by Robert and Jay Friedman from Blue Grass/Americana band Blue Plate Special. The song is a tongue-in-cheek look at taking stock of one's life and getting ready for Judgement Day.
"I Live For You" was written about my wife Trish. The song came on me one night, and I cut this track right then, playing everything. My first serious lead guitar work after cutting off my left hand in 1986. Modern surgery, eh?
Pop/R&B singer/songwriter/producer, Chesney Claire was born in SW Louisiana in 2001. She began singing publicly in high school as the band's lead singer. Right after high school Chesney moved to Branson, MO to be a part of the music culture there. After releasing 6 Pop cover singles with the help of Producer Rich Brown, and Atlantis Recordings, she found her talents were calling her to the West Coast to work on some original music.
2023 is proving to be a breakout year for Chesney.
"Dirty Little Secret" is Chesney's latest release. She's listed for nomination for 3 Grammys.

The Delphi Ravens came to life in late 2019, founded by bassist and songwriter Papa B. The band began by focusing on writing and releasing original songs. Together with lead vocalist Kira H/Y, Papa B. and her write all the group’s songs. Jim Bickerstaff was born and raised in Georgia and started playing and writing at an early age. The majority of his career has been behind the console as house engineer for the legendary Johnny Sandlin, and moving on to both engineer and produced many independent records. Working with major groups for the rebirth of Capricorn Records through Warner Brothers gave Jim insight and the drive to continue writing and performing. Colored Town is the fourth track on the Peace Project record, co-produced with Sandlin. Tracks were cut at Duck Tape Studio with Johnny and Jeremy Stephens behind the console. The song is a reflection of a 10-year-old moving from a diverse (military) society to the deep south in 1966 when dark-skinned folks lived under a different set of rules than light-skinned people. Separate water fountains, bathrooms, and even medical facilities were the norm. The song is about real people that Jim knew growing up and a time that made a deep impact on everyone who lived through it … painting the impressions it made on a bewildered 10-year-old boy. Colored Town is an attempt to understand what should never have been.
