Texas State Songwriters Championship is more than just a songwriter competition. We aim to provide a network for artists and provide mental health, mindset, and business training to the artists. As well as, provide them with industry contacts, and other artists, so they don't have to feel so alone on their journey.
Most of us are aware of the Robin Williams story. Art, whether it be comedy, painting, music, all tends to come from the same broken place.
Like the song "Glass" by Thompson Square. Our light bends through the broken places and creates beautiful things, like the songs we will hear on December 9th at Horus Hall.
We are inviting you to be a part of this journey, and help make an impact on the lives of the artists and talent we have in the Texas Music Community.

My name is Cynthia, I own Texas Brew Radio & The Texas State Songwriter Championship.
This is our second year hosting the finale in the stockyards, and we look forward to making this our home!
We currently have 25 artists and 3 special guest performances lined up for the finale. You can get tickets & VIP meet & greet, by going to www.texasstatesongwriters.com .

Doors open at 6 for artists radio interviews.
At 7 for VIP & 745 for public.
Show Starts at 8.
Aritsts will tell their story.
How long they have been on their journey,
What inspired them to be a Songwriter,
Who influenced their style.
They will, sing a song,
Tell the story about how it came to life,
Sing a song, Tell the story behind it,
Plug social media, and then, we will hear from the judges, and move onto the next artist.
We are interviewing artists 6-745.
At 745 we will start the live feed, open doors, and the industry will go across the stage and introduce themselves.
Then artists start at 8 to 1, and we have until 2 to tally votes and announce winners and network/meet n greet.
VIP TICKETS are on sale! On the site, if you want to come in at 7 and meet the artists and grab a few drinks before the show!

With the new management, a lot of things have changed.
We are now hosting city-wide events in parks, working with organizations and giving back to the communities

This Association is a registered 501c3 public charity, incorporated in the state of Texas. Their mission is to provide rehabilitative golfing experiences for injured service members residing in North Texas. The objective: ZERO SUICIDES So far the # is 0!
So far the # is 0!We are honored to have some veterans among our songwriters, and some that even wrote songs about the same mission we share with www.ntwga.org.
We look forward to giving you a great place to enjoy some of the amazing Songwriters in Texas.
This Competition is open genre.
You will be introduced to so many different styles of the art of music and songwriting.
If you have never been to the Texas State Songwriter Championship, it's truly a one of a kind experience.
Don't like bars? This is a listening style room.
There will be a full bar available, however, it's not the party atmosphere we would experience elsewhere.
And, that's the reason we chose this venue.
