They earned acclaim with their self-titled debut album on Ransom Records. Seneca’s debut spawned four singles that charted in the top five, among them three that became #1 hits for the husband/wife duo.

"I've always wanted the opportunity to move people with my music, just like how music moved me." Chip Darby, a 19 year old musician out of the SETX (Southeast Texas) area, has been bringing the heat with Texas Blues, Southern Rock, and Traditional Country music. The Song, "Where The Creek Flows" by Darby, is a love song written about a girl who told him that he'd regret the things he's done in their relationship and that the relationship was over. Heartbroken, in response to the words she had said, he told her " You may think I will, but I never ever will, hang up this ol' cowboy hat."

"Lean On Each Other" was written in the middle of a strawberry field in Poteet, TX. I played an acoustic set at the Strawberry Festival to end a 9 day acoustic run, and was camping on the festival grounds, getting ready to drive 8 hours back home the next day. I was thinking about how, when you are away from your significant other for an extended period of time, sometimes you're not always on the same page after that distance, and when you finally do get to see each other again, nothing really matters except coming back together and reconnecting.

Chris Edwards, simply put, is a singer-songwriter rooted in the deep Pineywoods of East Texas. Whether it's folkin' n' rollin' with a raucous band behind him, or armed with his guitar and songs, he is a compelling favorite among live music connoisseurs in the region.
With a suitcase full of influences ranging from the old-time folk and country he grew up with (thanks to his grandparents' record collection) to more recent Texas troubadours like Robert Earl Keen into rockier territory like the Old 97's, Chris Edwards' blend of catchy melodies and literate lyrics prove that he is a songwriter, first and foremost, focusing on "just writing good songs."
With a new album, “Homebrew,” about to come out (June 28th), Edwards feels he's "just getting warmed up," despite many valleys in his musical journey, but hey, the struggles and in-between periods just make the songs and stories all that more potent.

ONE CHURCH ONE BAR TOWN tells a story that mirrors April N. Smith's life. Here's the story directly from April: "I grew up in a small town with a population of less than 2,000 people...and 1,999 all knew me by name because my father was in local law enforcement and my mother was the school nurse. I attended church at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield which, at the time, was the largest church in town. It was a blessing and a curse to be from such a small place because everybody knew who I was, yet EVERYBODY KNEW WHO I BELONGED TO so if I messed up, there was no hiding it! I jokingly say that I loved living here so much I moved across the driveway when I started my own family, but that’s the reality of it. I live next door to my grandmother and across the street from my mom. I’ve moved away twice, never selling my home here. Both times I returned to the comfort and familiarity that comes from being in a place “where everybody knows your name”. So, when I was pitched this song, it felt like “home”.This song resonated with me because it truly is my life. My favorite line from the song is “My congregation meets on both sides of the street ”because I truly belong to both kind of people. The lyrics were beautifully written by Helene Cronin and Kristen Kuiper as if they had watched a slide show of my past and penned it as such." ONE CHURCH ONE BAR TOWN is a smooth country radio single Produced by Paul Osborn, the song showcases April's smooth vocals and incredible instrumentation.

One show is all it takes.

Cateran.
Originally formed in 2014 the band is comprised of a group of seasoned musicians and friends who had previously played in many different bands and in many guises.
In addition to their own set of self-penned and recorded songs, Cateran also perform a selection of hand-picked cover versions, all performed in their own style.
Featuring five vocalists and with influences including the Eagles; Crosby Stills Nash & Young and Runrig, to name but a few, their sound features warm, close, blended harmonies, which underpin their melodic but meaningful song-writing style.
2017 saw the release of Cateran’s debut album, ‘Southerness’, with the release being celebrated with a capacity crowd at The Fort Theatre in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. It was also featured on BBC Radio Scotland’s popular ‘Iain Anderson Show’.
Cateran released, (December 2022), an EP on USB called ’The Gathering’. The tracks are available on all the usual music streaming platforms.
The band has already enjoyed extensive exposure and recognition for two recent singles they released; ‘Rise’ and ‘I’ll Always Be There’. Both songs received numerous radio station plays across a wide range of countries; UK, Ireland, Canada, USA and Australian stations have all picked up and featured these songs. Cateran were particularly pleased to have high profile stations in Nashville, Memphis and New York, to name a few States, playing their music.
Emerging from COVID lockdowns, in 2022, they sold out and played concerts in Scotland plus featured in a prominent slot at the annual ‘Moira Furnace Folk Festival’ in England, where their performance received excellent feedback. More recently, they sold out several evenings at the Fort Theatre Bishopbriggs, and The Lanternouse Theatre Cumbernauld.
The band are completely self-contained, providing, both sound and lighting equipment when required, and will adapt to the requirements of the venue and the audience, by appearing in a more “acoustic” format with a percussion setup rather than drumkit, when this would be a more appropriate option for smaller, more intimate gigs. The band also offer a trio/quartet based around vocals and acoustic guitar for promotional radio/TV appearances.

Christian Country Alternative: a new genre of my own creation. Music is in my soul and my faith in Christ is my passion. With the country music genre being the hub and my "go-to" style of choice, it becomes more and more apparent that the new norm of country music is to push the boundaries and see what many artists can get away with regarding content and lyrics, which is problematic for many like myself that simply enjoy wholesome lyrics and simple harmonic construction.
In the fall of 2023 as a "starving teacher", it occurred to me to try my hand at being a "starving artist" and use the same modern sounds as some of my favorites — such as Combs, Pardi, and Midland — but incorporate lyrics and stories that either come straight from the Word or are relevant from a Christian perspective. Having released my first EP in February of 2024, appropriately titled Showcase, it felt like that goal was achieved.
